My firsr love the father of my 2 elder sons was and still is an addict his drug of choice speed and I heard later on crystal meth...This really hit home for me...I watched the shift happen in him and it was so heartbreaking...20+ years later and I still feel it at times! I dont think its something that can ever be forgotten....I am so happy to know that your clean!!! It's a really tough battle but you fought and continue to win!! Tara, addiction is a monster. I'm truly sorry to hear that someone close to you is still out there, lost in the dark. Unfortunately, that's how it is with addiction. Yet, there is always hope for the still-suffering addict. May he find his way home.

It's been over 20 years girl!! I hope one day he can have a relationship with his adult children and now our grandchildren!! I still send him all the love and healing vibes! I believe that healing can come for him and every other long suffering addict aswell!!
